Kova Engineering has furthered our wire rope inspection capabilities with the addition of magnetic wire rope testing (MRT) technology. With this technology, we can evaluate the internal and external condition of wire ropes and assist our clients in making informed decisions about the life of their wire ropes. Our methods use patent-pending technology to detect and accurately measure rope deterioration such as: clusters of broken wires, interstrand nicking, fretting, core condition, and corrosion pitting.
